I don't have quad core so that's not the issue. It would not generate a log and I also received an error stating that the user did not have admin privileges so offered to save elsewhere. I made a couple of other changes--setting my monitor to single GPU mode, and customized my power usage to be more efficient. Haven't gotten any since making the suggested changes here.
