I can fix Windows NTFS problems with Linux amongst other issues -- while Windows isn't even booted -- but, can't do that in reverse with Windows fixing Linux. sou yo are wasting valuable disk space! Also hard drives have I/O speeds much slower than RAM, so unless you have an SSD you wont see that much of a difference. The minors are video drivers! Even if it isn't, running startup repair may fix my boot anyway. Source

On the right pane, you will see a setting option that reads Configure Scenario Execution Level. Msconfig I provbed this with some tests last spring and I've just repeated the same tests with equal or better results.

Defragment the Registry with the free Registry Defrag utility from Auslogics. Getting rid of the crapware that comes with new PC's and updating your drivers will make Vista run pretty well. Normally it's not needed to explicitly enable it.
