Windows 7 Service Pack 1 Says Installed But Isn't I then went into “client” in “main wsusoffline” folder and clicked on the folder “update” This downloaded all the updates and fixed “windows update”!!! Control Panel, Administrative Tools, and System Configuration, but I noticed that although I followed the instructions above about disabling things, when I went back into it later the boxes were all Here in December 2012, I wanted to do my annual routine of stripping my hard drive and then re-installing all programs and replacing my data files.
