My laptop will connect to open connections, it just doesn't seem to want to connect to mine. Bridging seemed to do the trick for me. Start a new line, and type in the ip address of the computer you are using followed by the computer's assigned name on the network. Do this for every folder you want to share.

HomeGroup is enabled and all 3 computers and connect to the desktop and 1 laptop.
