The only viruses they used to be immune to were PC platform viruses (Intel/IBM) because the Motorola processor was never compatible with Intel and/or AMD.
If they were using their OWN account, then they are stupid, chances are they were using an alt account or even someone elses hijacked account to pass things on to other Couldn't go anywhere else on the internet. Simply use iTunes to back up and restore your device. Its more important to know how to respond to these problems because they will never go away permanently no matter what browser you use.
