Reply Mario says: June 2, 2013 at 09:32 Hi Rosco, I'm trying to recover some files from a defunct computer with this error. This is something that has caught out a number of people as the have ended up deleting the wrong partition.Stuart Report • #13 Tubesandwires July 20, 2011 at 16:06:01 You can I know its not something Im doing wrong cos when I physically change the hard disk, XP installs with no problem. That fact that you are getting that far indicates that the hard disk is being detected (although C: could be mapping to a different drive such as your DVD). http://realink.org/solved-xp/solved-xp-or-ubuntu-10-4.html
What am I doing wrong? It has to load driver separable after the OS has allocated drive letters to the hard disk as the drive were loaded with a path name. Sounds good.
