I can't tell you how I did it, but I had to go into my Norton 360 firewall and 'allow' the Vista to see the XP machine. It will act as a Wireless Access Point (extending range from the router), replace my wireless card on the Desktop (it'll be hard-wired to the print-server) and allow all of my my review here

Kapil Arya ^^ Lol :) Samarin Got an error: 1057 instead on the fix for 1079. as soon as the trial expired I removed it and installed AVG. lolWithout knowing what brand of printer you have, what firewall you are useing, I cannot awnser the question. A blinking green light indicates functionally connectivity.
All is good now and I can print from both machines! David A Followed verbatim, but still not working. Turns out for me the issue had nothing to do with networking. Before you can network the computers, you must assign the same workgroup name to both of them and SHARE folders in Explorer.
