Solved: Xp Oem Cd

Most PC repair shops will have a OEM CD that they can use to reinstall Windows. I guess Guest additions include all driver deemed necessary. Its an XP Pro sp3 OEM Genuine. Generally i would do a full reinstall but this is not my box. my review here

I've had it running for about a week now with Quickbooks and Microsoft Office 2007 running on it. So the question is: Can i do a repair install from Win XP Home SP3 OEM-COA cd to an installed Win XP Home SP3 OEM-COA? And what if i install from inside Windows? (ie. Thanks for posting this solution. The retail version is always an option, but you need to activate online. I am pretty sure, this one will work with my original product key.

Not so sure about other hardware - I use Vbox on my laptop and added no other drivers to a basic xp install. There are some versions that can always be installed, but you may need to download and install additional drivers from the machine manufacturer. Here i am again.
