Solved: Using MicroTek Scanner With XP

I'm not sure the system recognizes the specific scanner I'm installing. So I decided to use the original CD and the program installed in Program Files as normal, and the desktop icon appeared as before, but this time the program opened as Credentials confirmed by a Fortune 500 verification firm. I assume I have to reinstall the program from the original disc (as I had previously uninstalled it for not working). I hate to make anyone feel slighted.
