I do not remember which program actually detected the virus it may have been eset o line scanner but it did not remove it. Now they said it has not gone out and it will not go out until maybe end of week and it would take another three weeks. My question was if you know for fact that MBAM deals with Trojan.AdClicker and Trojan.Powelik so we could advise users to use MBAM, if infected by these.
My laptop came up clean as a whistle on all of them. Chose to start in start 'last successful' mode. All I get is runaround and doubt if I will ever see my money back from them. I think I have got through my issues.
Follow this guide to clean out that unwanted Trojan horse virus from your system. I did go buy a new laptop so it's no big deal to me as I experiment if I destroy the thing in the process. I had to do something to get back to work, and the Symantec removal tool did just that.
