Is my computer infected, or is there something wrong with my computer handling antiviruses? What do I do? I have ran a AIDA64 benchmark test on my machine with all hardware devices and the system performs well. (Test ran for 5 hours +) I also checked my cpu... With adaware, after it finds maybe 5 I stop it and delete the ones it find and then do a new scan. Are you looking for the solution to your computer problem? I updated the Ad-aware scanner, it found some stuff, and then the Norton scan was able to complete,(though it found nothing, I'm guessing Ad-aware found it). Problem solved! -- fan is quiet, and I ran my first complete virus scan in months (all 67K files). I did Neuro trick but one step beyond.
