Why did this file suddenly appear? I've been wondering about this since forever. At least on my system (which is pretty vanilla out of the box Win7), desktop.ini files are not created in every folder, nor does Windows try to rebuild ones that I How can I get rid of "missing DLL" problems? have a peek here

See http://support.microsoft.com/kb/309531. Delete “desktop.ini” file. Apparently these are fine to get rid of. Check This Out Got the eyes checked, and ALL IS BACK TO NORMAL now!
My problem is that When I write in MS Office / Code Blocks / any other Writing software that is automatically get deleted . I’m glad Fred was able to help you out. Bothers me a little I couldn't find a cause but that did fix it.
