In my case it was Advanced System Care 5 from IOBIT software...LOVE THE SOFTWARE on Win 7..speeds everything up and clears out all the BS Miscosoft stuff running at boot... i remove microsoft visual C++ 2005 redistributable 8.0.61001 then, copy paste back to normal. If it still doesn't show perhaps it crashed and never reloaded so try running "rdpclip.exe" without first killing it.
While finding this solution, I found "Ditto" a clipboard replacement/alternative...anyone tried this? This function can be made into a shortcut by using the command as the shortcut location/target. And when the system starts acting flakey, for some reason it never dawns on you that the junkware is the root cause of the problem. I use copy/paste for many reasons and for right now they are being held hostage with no way to move them to other programs that I know of.
