Now I only need to edit another 638 albums - or delete 90% of them which I never hear anyway 🙂 Thanks for your guide. Open Library and right click the existingartwork / space. I delete them from where I have my songs stored, but as soon as I open up win.

If I do come across a solution for fixing this problem, I'll let you know! I opened Foobar and verified no image was being used in any way. The file was originally encoded in iTunes (before I abandoned it with an all-consuming hatred of all things Apple) and I have to assume this is where the artwork was originally
I use this trick when they don't. Windows Media Player Album Art Not Updating WMP11 was so much easier. Are you sure you want to continue? I tried one suggestion to go to the Album view and open it from there, but these "bad Billy" albums don't show up in that view.

However, I was able to find a forum post (see the 06 August 2012 entry) that tells you how to change the Windows Registry to force WMP to display album art http://realink.org/media-player/bup-ifo-vob-windows-media-player.html What dpi should I be using?

Do you know what the solution for this could be? How can I permanently delete them so they won't just come back? The art looks fine on the ipod or other portable device in 300×300, but full screen on the PC it ain't so pretty!
